ELIZABETH R. EARLE is an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric in the Department of Communication Studies at California State University, Sacramento. She received her Ph.D. in rhetoric and public affairs in the Department of Communication at Texas A&M, in addition to a Master’s in Hispanic studies and a Master’s in communication studies from Louisiana State University.
Her interdisciplinary research combines these interests, looking at the intersections of political rhetoric, public intellectuals, and media in Latin America, Spain, and the United States. Additionally, she has received multiple grants and fellowships for her international research that examines public rhetorical responses to political crises.
